Artificial snow, scissors, old paper ADs.

I came with this idea while watching my nephews playing with artificial snow.

Had to teach them some old tricks (: hehe :).

It is very cheap. You only need to buy the spray, which is no more than $4.

Some old paper or useless old ADs from a store and scissors are probably easy to find at every home.

Some weak glue or anything that will stick paper to the window for a while, until the spray does his job.

Get the paper and fold it like this:

Folded and cut.
Folded and cut.

The round line is where you will cut later. Cross-fold first the big square to smaller square 1/4 of the original.

Then fold the square to form a triangle. In 2 of the papers I did one more fold to make more figurines.

Cut the part that's staying uneven to form something round. (picture on the right).

When done, it must look like this:

Almost round :D
Almost round :D
Pines... I think.
Pines... I think.

Now simply put your imagination to work.

You need to imagine HOW the form you want to make will look IN HALF, before you use the scissors.

In basic: Every form in the nature tries to be symmetric. You just need to visualize its half, so you can carve it in the thick paper (mind the fingers ;) ).

The remaining forms can also be used:

More pines.
More pines.
Hearts and some ... other forms.
Hearts and some ... other forms.

Whatever you feel interesting to carve in paper will later become a canvas in the windows.

My nephews made some hearts and some enormous snowflakes.

They were quite disappointed that I did not left them alone with the spray, but with little of my help, it did acquire some prettier form:

We are ready.
We are ready.
Pine or compass ... don't know exactly.
